Hello all! It's high time for a public update. It's been a while! I just want to let you know what I'm up to, where I'm at, and what I'm thinking for the future of LIES WITHIN and other comics.

The last two years have been a challenge for me creatively, specifically when it comes to LIES WITHIN. I spent much of 2024 crafting a pitch that never got picked up, and in 2025 Hiveworks imploded, and although I got out of that in one piece, I was left with a mental block in regards to the comic that I just couldn't work past. So I decided to reboot it ... and then soon found myself right back at that mental block, and with the anxiety of re-doing nearly four hundred pages just slightly better, I stopped the rework.

So where does that leave me now?

I have spent a chunk of time over the last month noodling with the ending to the point where I am in a good place to finish it. So, that's what I'll be doing. I apologize if this is disappointing to everyone who was looking forward to a reboot, but I think it's better for me if I finish LIES WITHIN, warts and all, and then make my Next Thing with everything I learned crafting this story.
